
Refund Policy
Effective Date: October 1, 2025
At Lighthouse MHFA, we are committed to providing high-quality Mental Health First Aid training. We understand that plans can change, so here’s how refunds and transfers work:
1. Class Cancellations by Lighthouse MHFA
If we need to cancel a class for any reason, you’ll receive a full refund of your registration fee or the option to transfer to another class. It's up to you!
2. Participant Cancellations
We understand that life can be unpredictable. If you’re unable to attend a class you registered for, here’s how we can help:

Transfer to Another Class: With at least 7 days’ notice before your class date, you’re welcome to transfer your registration to another session that works better for you.

Refunds for Early Cancellations: If you cancel 7 or more days in advance, we’re happy to provide a full refund.

Special Circumstances: Sometimes unexpected things come up! If something happens and you’re less than 7 days away from training day, please reach out to us. We’ll do our best to work with you.

​​We aim to be flexible, supportive, and fair so you can focus on learning and practicing Mental Health First Aid without added stress.
3. Pre-Work and Materials
Pre-work, course materials, and certification are included with your registration and are non-refundable.
4. How to Request a Refund or Transfer

Class cancellations by Lighthouse MHFA: Refunds are automatically processed to your original payment method.

Transfers: please contact us at contact@lighthousemhfa.com and we’ll help you find a new class.
5. Changes to This Policy
We update these policies sometimes to reflect new practices or offerings. Any updates will be posted here with a new effective date.
